I’m sure many people believe that 50 Cent has made a come back with his new song “Baby By Me” that features Ne-Yo. Besides the actual message of the track it’s a nice song. The beat is soothing and with Ne-Yo’s vocals it definitely pulls you in but, the message is ridiculous. “Have a baby by me baby, be a millionaire”, 50 says on the hook. I’m wondering how his counterparts actually feel about this song because it’s basically a call for gold diggers. Let’s be real. How many gold diggers do we know of that dream about pinning a Hip Hop artist to be their future “baby daddy”? That’s like the ultimate dream of a “gold digger”. Also, the fact that 50 is actually telling a woman that she can become a millionaire by having a baby by him shows how little he must respect life. Children should never be equal to a paycheck. On the flip side any woman that is willing to have a baby by a man just because of his financial status must not respect life either. She also may not know exactly what she’s bargaining for.
