The recent release of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s collaborative album, Watch The Throne, has come with much hype, endearment, and criticism while it continues to climb the charts and dominate the mainstream.

The mass array of emotions towards the album is much deserved as well as it explores different levels of sound and subject that may leave listeners either satisfied, on the fence, or downright disappointed.

But let’s go beyond the shiny, gold wrapper; WTT is adorned in and get down to its bare elements to see if this almighty throne was worth keeping an eye on.
