Following in the footsteps of 2009, 2010 was also a year in which artists gave the Hip-Hop community solid contributions worth listening to. Anthems were born, comebacks were made, and debuts exceeded well over expectation.

Whether you wanted to be like Big Meech, or loved the way Eminem lied, chances are that this year was a year that saw your Beats By Dre headphones, along with your iPOD Touch working overtime– not to mention your constant “#NowPlaying” Twitter updates. So here’s StreetLogik’s Top Ten list of albums you just couldn’t live without this year, and if you managed to; only God knows how you did it.

2010 was a great year for music, especially that of the free kind as fans got to experience a vast array of great music from mainstream and up & coming artists without spending one red cent. For what seemed like the marketing strategy of the year, whether major, indie, or underground, almost every artist gave out a body of work to either garner much-needed buzz, prep fans for an upcoming project, or simply prove to the masses that their music was worth listening to.
