Some are calling the group Random Axe’s latest self-titled effort “hardcore Hip-Hop” but after a good listen, I just call it Hip-Hop as it gets back to gritty, poignant and often cleverly witty lyricism over heavy-hitting production.

Big things happened at Jay-Z and Eminem’s concert last night in Detroit’s Comerica Park as surprise guests hit the stage including B.o.B, Young Jeezy, Trick Trick, Drake, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, D12 and more. Sounds like a helluva show, check the footage up top.
Okay, so Royce and Whoo Kid’s mixtape, Bar Exam 3, came in a bit early and Detroit’s sprinkled throughout very nicely. With features from Black Milk, Marvwon, Trick Trick, and Elzhi as well as Bun B, Joe Budden, Kid Vishis, and more, this is definitely worth checking for.
